香港耶穌寶血女修會修女。1988年畢業於倫敦大學經濟政治學院國際關係系，取得哲學博士學位。現任香港大學公民社會及政府管治研究中心榮譽教授，曾任教於香港大學政治與公共行政學系、香港嶺南大學政治及社會學系、台灣高雄文藻外語學院國際事務系。研究範圍以大中華區政治與宗教關係為主。編著有中英文學術著作八本，發表學術論文五十餘篇。最近發表論文為“The Portuguese Appeasement Policy and Macau’s Church-State Relations,” Journal of Contemporary China.
盧兆興
現任加拿大滑鐵盧大學政治系教授，曾任教於香港大學政治及公共行政系，以及香港科技大學人文及社會科學院，研究範圍是中國及港澳特區之政治發展。近年著作包括：Political Change in Macao (Routledge, 2008), The Dynamics of Beijing-Hong Kong Relations: A Model for Taiwan? (Hong Kong University Press, 2008), The Politics of Cross-Border Crime in Greater China: Case Studies of Mainland China, Hong Kong and Macao (M.E.
