2009這一年來，北館館全心扮演營造市民藝術生活的基地，其中除了全館同仁盡心投入外，亦要感謝藝術界與其他各界朋友的支持與愛護，讓美術館在策劃展覽、規劃活動、徵藏作品、研究出版等各方面都能有發展與進步。(Over the past year TFAM has focused on transforming itself into a platform for artistic activities geared toward fellow urbanites. Apart from the hard work and dedication of our colleagues at the museum, we would also like to thank our friends from the art world and other sectors for their care and support, which have allowed for continued progress in several areas including the planning of exhibitions and activities; the procurement of works of art; and the publication of related research.)
