More emphasis throughout the text has been devoted to the following topics:
1.Service-An icon in the text denotes service-oriented examples while new readings reference service-oriented companies like Amazon.com and discuss the challenges of managing services.
2.Supply Chain-An icon in the text indicates references to supply chain management issues; chapter 15 features updated coverage and examples including Sysco’s complex supply chain logistics, strategic considerations in supply chain management, and the damages caused by unethical supplier behavior.
3.Ethical Conduct -The text introduces an ethical framework in chapter 1 and includes business ethics scenarios and critical thinking exercises in every chapter.
