It is designed and written to intentionally include contemporary compounding practices, established and new practice standards, and current guidelines set forth by pharmacy organization and agencies. The subject matter of the book remains the same, but significant revisions have been made to address the impact new federal laws and/or regulations have had on the practice. The content(basic science, practice, and procedure) remains relatively unchanged, but every chapter was meticulously reviewed has been skillfully updated to include the latest advances in “formulation science.” The book is designed and intentionally written for pharmacy students, pharmacy technicians, and pharmacy educators.
