本書為「托瑪斯．德曼 歷史的結舌」展覽中文專輯。展覽由攝影展覽基金會、尤倫斯當代藝術中心與臺北市立美術館共同策劃，2025年1月18日至5月11日於本館展出。



　　德國藝術家托瑪斯·德曼(Thomas Demand)以逼真的紙製模型創作觀念攝影聞名於世。他對媒材特性的探討以及對議題演繹手法的細膩層次，深刻反映出他在視覺傳遞過程中的獨特哲學思考。德曼擅長結合雕塑與建築的空間元素，以及平面攝影的敘事本質，透過歷史與記憶、虛構與現實之間的交錯，挑戰我們對攝影與真實之間的固有聯想。

　　This Chinese edition of the catalogue is published with the exhibition “Thomas Demand: The Stutter of History ” at the Taipei Fine Arts Museum from 18 January to 11 May 2025. The exhibition has been co-organized by the Foundation for the Exhibition of Photography and the UCCA Center for Contemporary Art in association with the Taipei Fine Arts Museum.The Stutter of History brings together a wide-ranging survey of works spanning the arc of Thomas Demands career and offers insight into how we might approach the onslaught of historical events that we consume in the form of images.
