David G. Smith 香港執業會計師，退休前是畢馬威會計師事務所合夥人，從事稅務工作已有二十年。在加入香港的會計師行列前，他曾任職於澳洲稅務局 (Australian Taxation Office)。他是香港會計師公會 (Hong Kong Society of Accountants)、澳洲公認執業會計師公會 (Australian Society of Certified Practising Accountants) 及澳洲稅務學會 (Taxation Institute of Australia) 會員，亦為國際財政協會 (International Fiscal Association) 香港分會及聯合聯絡小組稅務組委員。他經常對稅務事宜發表意見。
