Sing Along is a book series that comes in four volumes, each containing 15 classic songs or nursery rhymes familiar across the world. Each volume also comes with a CD featuring the songs.
This book series is geared to children who are learning English as a second language. Learning English through reading and dialogues helps kids improve their pronunciation, but it does not help them keep pace with native speakers. However, while we sing, we slow down. This gives kids a chance to clearly hear and then imitate the pronunciation of every single word within the songs they listen to. In addition, the more often they sing, the more familiar they will be with the lyrics of the songs they are learning. As a result, they will be more motivated to learn English and be able to remember more of what they learn.
